These terms apply when you buy from Illuminate Christian Bookshop online. Please read them before placing an order.

Our books
Most of our stock is second-hand, and most titles are single copies. We describe and grade each book’s condition as accurately as we can, but minor signs of previous ownership are normal. Once a copy has sold it may no longer be available.
Orders and prices
Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed when we confirm and dispatch your order. Prices are in pounds sterling. Books are zero-rated for VAT. Postage is added at the checkout (see our Delivery & Postage page). We try to keep prices and availability accurate, but if we find an error or a book is no longer available, we’ll contact you and offer a refund.
Payment
We accept card payments, processed securely by WooCommerce Payments (Stripe). We do not store your card details.

Our liability
We’re responsible for foreseeable loss caused by us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care, but we’re not liable for unforeseeable loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. We may update them from time to time; the version on this page applies to your order. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
