Second-hand books, sold as described. Every book is pre-owned, graded for condition and described honestly, with a photo where we have one. Please check the condition and details before ordering.
If something’s wrong
If a book arrives faulty, damaged in the post, or significantly not as described, email us within 14 days and we’ll offer a replacement (if we have one) or a full refund, including your return postage.
Changed your mind (online orders)
For orders placed on this website you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your book. Return it unused and in the same condition within 14 days of telling us, and we’ll refund the price of the book. Return postage for change-of-mind returns is at your own cost.
Bought in the shop
Books bought in person are sold as seen and are non-returnable unless faulty.
How to return
Email admin@illuminatebooks.org.uk first so we can help. As a charity reselling donated books, we cannot refund original postage on change-of-mind returns.
